America, England, Russia etc. vs. Japan and the proud country, Germany. ack! i meant the evil and stupid Nazi! Actually, i think that in WW2, the germans were not "the bad guys". they were just the victims of propaganda(think about it: how many movies/games, where the nazi are evil, have you seen? quite alot, i bet). Estonians were always in the side of the germans- no matter how badly germans treated estonians, russians treated us worse. my brother and my misic know about WW2 alot and my brother said that Japan and Russia made a deal: if Germany or America attacks one of them, the other doesnt interfere. anyway, Germany attacked Russia, Japan didnt do anything. later, America attacked Japan, and the Russians broke the deal! also, The losses in Pearl Harbor were nothing considered to Japans losses in Hiroshima.
so post here and say something smart |

Yes, you are totally right! Nazi's were Brainwashed, Hitler was a great speaker (right now, actually in about 2 hours, I have a report due on "Who was responsible for the holocaust, and maybe you can type about a page worth and I can copy/paste it to word ) and he brainwashed them all. I'd have to say Hitler was responsible though. As I said, great ability to speak, just astounded everyone. Well, that's my 4-11

brainwashed ? No, i don't buy that. Most of them were pretty bloodthirsty in those days, especially the younger ones. And in the end when the allies confronted them with the deathcamps everybody was like: oh, we didn't know. Did nobody in those days ever wonder where their jewish neighbours had been taken ?

(That bit sounds similar to what happened in the Salem trials too, more proof for "history repeats" I suppose.)

hitler was a sucky artist and a sick man who was deluded
many of the germans did follow him blindly though.

Before this gets ugly, I just thought I'd ask why Japan and Russia would want to make any kind of arrangement with eachother whatsoever?

baltazar, the mass hypnosis theory is just a way for the germans to absolve themselves from responsibility for what they did.and how would you explain the behavior of the allies of the germans?they also willingly assissted in the deaths of the jews, gypsies, and others.
uss, what kind of fu**ing idiots do you have running your schools?the japanese attacked the u.s. at pearl harbor.they hoped to destroy the pacific fleet so they could not stop their southward expansion into south east asia.and they didn't stop with pearl.they also attacked us in the phillipines.at the same time they hit the british possesions in asia as well. uss, these were not a bunch of sunday picnicers, they were cruel vicious bastards who never thought twice about torturing and murdering prisoners.i suggest you talk to someone from china on the subject of japanese war crimes.they are responsible for at least ten million deaths there,it might be more,we'll never know for sure.hell, people are still dieing there because of the experiments in biological warfare they conducted on civilians. There were more actions we could've taken before dropping the bomb on Hiroshima (like detonating one off the coast to show what effect it would have) - and we could've waited longer before dropping the Nagasaki bomb - I mean, if, all of a sudden, Chicago was obliterated, we'd still be in shock after 3 days (look at 9/11), and we probably wouldn't yet be ready to surrender. We should've given them more time to surrender, although we may have had to drop that sucker anyway.
