I hope everyone's having a nice weekend!

I participated in the world's largest online poker tournament today, which puts me and 64,999 other people from around the globe in the Guiness Book of World Records!

I busted out with KK in the pocket when my opponent made a straight on the river, in the money #6393 for a whopping $3 prize.

Morning all. 6am here, and I have spent another sleepless night. And today, I get to start moving my stuff into my new house. Fun times huh.

How are you all?

The weekend is over once again. A real shame, in my really tired opinion. Another dreary week ahead for me, but looking forward to the coming weekend as I may be going to see HP6.

Everybody else?

How my house moving went.

I saw the room I am living in for the next year for the first time. It is about five foot wide, seven foot long, at most. The door has no lock and a glass panel in (I am the only girl living in a house of guys), so a new lock will have to go in, and I will have to hang a curtain over my door.

My one shelving unit fell off the wall as soon as it was touched. There are holes in other walls, and nails in a a few places. So a new lot of shelves will have to be put in, and a mirror hung up.

We managed to lug a spare wardrobe in there so I don't have to store my clothes in the room of one of the guys. The stairs are steep enough to kill you (and we have a housemate who is often drunk, I wonder how long he will live). The boiler has a habit of breaking, leaving you with cold water in winter.

The best bit, in the house next door lives a bloke with tourettes, who tends to yell and curse at the top of his lungs. My room is right next door to his room. The guy who lived there before me (who has gone to join the army) said it often drove him to go elsewhere to study.

Fortunatly the matress in my room was replaced from the dodgey broken one.
Also, my landlord never shows up and is impossible to get in touch with.

Oh, and we can't get into the garden. The key sheared off in the lock earlier today.

Still. It is the nicest student accomidation I have seen in a long while, and it is cheap.

I haven't even started on the problems with me moving in and the previous tenants moving out, and the bloody badly organised shambles that was...

Good news indeed, what job did he get Cloudy? From what I have heard getting jobs in the US of A these days is hard.

Hey a fellow world record holder - congratulations

My wife, children and I should be in next years book as part of the largest Kazoo band in the world (wow eh) during a rugby league match we went to last month, they handed out free Kazoo's to all to play at half time.

Spent the weekend up in the Clearwater/Bayonet Point area around Tampa. Visited some relatives on my mom's side. Got to see my niece, now 4-ish months old. She's growing well, though all the excitement made her a little cranky.

Haha! Watta awesome record to be part of! That must of been helluva racket!

I'm still trying to figure out if I'm in the book or just my screenname and where I can look it up. It seems the two biggest poker sites are ina bit of a pissing match for this world record so I expect to play again for an even bigger record in the next few months.
