I was wondering what time differant TV ratings can be on TV. The other day The Titanic (12) was on tv with swearin like Sh** and the middle finger and last night Eastenders (on at 7.30) had words like B*tch and @rsehole. Should'nt these words be on after the watershed?

You questions sound like ones that should be asked of the broadcasters in your country. Every one seems to have different rules. Someone from Jolly Ole' will have answer you.

In the U.S., more leniency is being given to tv programs and commercials. It has been predicted that in the near future...regular TV shows will be what we today would consider R rated. Think about how TV used to be back in the black and white days. They didn't do even a fraction of what they are getting away with now. People are becoming more tolerent or maybe even uncaring. Some commercials are already border line for mild nudity! It is crazy!

the following words are no longer considered curse words and can be used as every-day language even in childrens programing!

Crap, Bastard, Bitch, damn, Hell... ect... Just not the next 2 words:

The following words are only uncencorable on channels that show movies alot or don't have a rating system:

S**t. F**K OH and protruding the middle finger...
O_o that's ALL!

Also: On cable TV all nudity must be covered up, but on pay TV, anything goes... I once even saw Wiked City on Cinemax ^_^; ehe the Spiked genetelia was certainly a clever twist to the "invasion of the body snatchers" plot...
