Neverwinter Nights Release

I heard from PlanetNeverwinter.com that NWN will go gold Feb 22nd and be out for sell Feb 29th. But, I think that the 29th is on a leap year so that will be 2004. Can anybody help clarify what the hell is going on?

Bah, i woudnt be suprised if they delayed it again. You never know with these guys.

Right, if they delay it forever it will not only hurt their rep but there is a good chance other games will come whom are more advanced then nwn nights.

All the dates that are being bandied around are BS. The developers themselves have no idea when it will go gold; how would retailers or anyone else know? Here's the latest from Derek French from Bioware:

There is no release date for Neverwinter Nights. When we have a release date, this post will change with the addition of the release date.

The release dates that you see at retail sites are their best guess as to when the game will ship. Sorry, but it is just that; a guess.

That being said, things are progressing quite smoothly on the game and we are still on track for a release this winter season.

Addendum: this winter season is defined as December 21st, 2001 through March 20th, 2002. Sorry for the confusion.
