I agree with Kak on the need for RPGs (NWN 2 is coming soon though!) BTW, just a warning for those looking to buy JE, it is an excellent game, but it is way too easy and way too short. I beat it in an afternoon.

I've read they're planning to raise the difficulty level for the PC, but the game will probably be just as long as it was on the X-Box.

For all the cred BioWare has, the best thing with Jade Empire for PC is that the first retail price is not on par with the major titles at least.
Jade Empire might be fun and I will probably give it a spin but I don't expect marvels, at least not after reading the Gamespot and others review of it. Slightly booring combat, graphics that were great, short but compelling story. Hmmm
