Search is offline for a bit since it was crashing the server.

On the ravager, hit it with lower resistance then your favorite spell-combo-o-death. I like a spell sequencer with 3 ADHW in it.

Powerful melee fighters only should be used against it, weaker ones like theives will take more damage from the barrier than they dealout.

Ignore the blades, they just get re-summoned if you kill them.

The Ravager is immuned to Lower Resistance. People trying to do this will find to their horror, the Ravager laughing it off and proceeding to cream them.

Use 3 Pierce Shields to lower the Ravager's magic resistance.

You need +4 enchanted or better weapons to hurt the Ravager.

Summon elementals to keep the blades off your spell casters, use your fighters HLA abilities and just pound away, it'll die eventually.

The best method by far would be to postition your group around him and then cast " Time-stop " .. oh yeah .. that'll definetly kill somebody fast

Unfortunately, the Ravager is also immuned to Time Stop. See the first two lines of my initial post and replace Lower Resistance with Time Stop.

I think Daan knew and was merely offering some cruel advice
What'll happen is that noone but your mage will even get to fight back... Evil. Tisk tisk. Shame on you Daan

It could just be me, but when I played with my party of Valygar, Imoen, Minsc, Aerie, Jahaira and an elven Archer with the same name as my screen name here, I had no trouble whatsoever. Actually, it was the same as with Kangaxx, just step up to him and whack him to death. BTW, if the scimitars do get too annoying, cast a death spell. IIRC, that should kill them off and you'll have a little time before they respawn and close in again.
More advice? Ehr... bring healing potions?
