What happened?

Is the domain switchover to escapegaming going to happen soon?

I felt lost and lonely, too. Visited several other forums, found some nice folks, but there's no place, literally, like Ironworks.

EDIT: to add, Khazadman, the switch is off, because Micro$oft reneged on the deal to buy the Ironworks name.

I went as far as to ask about it on interplay's "OT" board to see if anyone knew what was going on (and was promptly flamed for asking such an "odd" question).

The switch to Escape isn't going to happen at all. That deal fell through.

The recent outage(Dec 5th-yesterday) was related to a problem Ziroc had with his ISP. He's since switched to Road Runner business service, and IW was back online yesterday. The IP changed, but everything else is the same.
