Which mod to choose?!

Okay guys, I need your help picking a mod.
I've narrowed my search down to
1)Darkest Day
2)Shadows Over Soubar
3)Freedom's Reign/Reign of Virtue

Here's another question, are all of these mods compatible and would you recommend installing all of them.

Pretty much right now I'm trying to enhance TOB with side quests and things because the main game is BORING after a few times through.

Please give me your opinions.

i recommend darkest day; the reigns (freedom's reign and reign of virtue) are tdd compatible, and they are MINI-mods. They only have a coumple of mb and add new stores and items; tdd is a big mod, which adds a lot of things.

Out of what you listed, only Reign of Virtue will improve your TOB gameplay. The rest modify SOA.

Here's what you should be looking for:

Ascension (get the WeiDU version)
Redemption (a WeiDU-Ascension add-on)
certain components of Weimer Tactics, such as Improved Oasis

and then NPCs that have TOB content. Kelsey has by far the most TOB-specific content but most of the rest including Solaufein, Tashia, and Valen have at least SOMETHING.

All of the mods I listed are inter-compatible, and should work with RoV with only a minor bit of forethought (installing RoV before those other mods.)

TDD and SoS are not natively compatible with one another, although you can install the Big Picture moosher-together mod if you also want to add in Tortured Souls and don't mind the changes to the AI and the frequent patches.

I read about the Redemption Mod and I wasn't too impressed with what I read about. Apparently you can raise Jon Irenicus and allow him in your party or something like that. I HATE JON IRENICUS! I WANT HIM TO STAY IN HELL! but anyhoo, on to a lighter subject.

I have been hesitant to download Ascension because I have heard that you can't do some romances because of it.

Yeah, Redemption really only appeals to a certain type of player, that's true, but you were looking for stuff that changed TOB. [img]smile.gif[/img]

What? This isn't true at all. Well, there was the old conflict between Arnel's Nalia and Ascension Classic but that's eliminated now anyway.
