Devil May Cry (1&2)

I was wondering what others impressions of these were. I enjoyed both, but 2 was too short. I finished both Characters in under 10 hours, hard mode in less than 3 each and can't be bothered with Must Die. The first one took longer and I died a few times, and some bosses took a few tries to do them and had more puzzely elemnts to it.

What did others prefer?

I loved them both, though #2 was too short, as you pointed out. The final boss in #2 was also too easy, IMO, but it was still a great game. [img]smile.gif[/img]

I like both too. though I didn't like the part where you get to use the girl in DMC2.

I returned number 2 yesterday, I completed it too fast and would want another harder game.

Dante was the coolest character imho.

yes, Dante's combos is cool to look at. I love it when he does the combos while on the air.

I must admit though the game is too short. well, All PS2 games are short actually.

FFX takes a bit of time, as does Vice City. And that about covers the long games.

I think #1 is a lot better than #2. The storyline in the second one was almost non-existent. There were no memorable characters. I dont even remember what the last boss was and I only finished it a month ago. It was waaaaay to easy. They changed all of the weapons. No Alastor or Ifrit or Sparda. No good special attacks like Inferno or Air Raid. Even the voice acting was terrible. (Not that it was great in DMC1

) And I hated......ok, ok rant mode over. [img]graemlins/rant.gif[/img]

I'm still trying to beat DMC1 on Dante Must Die mode. The second Griffon fight is tough but I'll still have fun trying.
