A cabana boy is usually a hot looking, tanned, no brained, sex toy that keeps up the pool and cabana (pool house) for his mistress. I may not be tanned, and I like to think I have a few brains, but the part about being your sex toy, now THAT has a certain appeal o me!!

english name: Leo (I picked it myself!)
real name: Wei Zhou
where from: china

well, I really got nothing to say about myself besides someone who lives a boring simple life. my biggest interest was computer games, however, as time passing I learnt that I cannot find what I wanted through games. sure the games make people feel good, for a while, but after hours of playing, I always found a ever-so-familiar monster awaited me, a monster that I seemed never able to escape. It is a curse of human life, that is from my 19-year immature perspective view of life, but it has been bothering me ever since I came to United Stats. The monster chased me after I graduate from high school, and it came with me to colledge. I have vowed to myself to change my life and this monster mercilessly destroyed my fatal attempt.
How desperate it seemed! When I try to do something over and over, encouraging myself, supporting myself, trying to be my own master, and I just to discover the utter truth that I am nothing, but a weakling who lacks of displine and self-control. I just to discover that I am nothing but someone who got defeated by his old enemy! This monster, is like a shadow, following me, taunting me, and getting ever stronger as he each time run over me, step me under his fury feet, toying me with his bloody fangs. Even in my dream, I could hear his mocking laughter, the laughter from animal that devour the weak. How creul!
This monster is one thing, but he is everything humanbeings fear. I envy those dearly loved ones who can escape the grasp of his evilness. I only hope, someday, i will have courage to walk out this shadow and face myself for what I truely am. The monster got a name, it is Fear.

P.S. sorry for the teenager's insecure rumbling. I only hope i will get over it.

250 - Fear is something all us humans have to deal with. We all fear different things for different reasons. Sometimes the fear actually helps us in some ways make the right decisions in life. I wrote a kind of "fear" poem in Gabriel's poem thread. I understand. The thing to do is to assess what you actually fear. Is there anything you can do about it? If not, then focus your mind elsewhere because you are only worrying for naught. If there IS something you can do about it, then hey, what are you waiting for? Of course, I do not know what your particular fear is?, so cannot say much more than that. All I know 250 is that I really like your friendly humorous personality, you are very unique.

It is rewarding to find someone you like, but it is essential to like ourself.
It is quickening to recognize that someone is a good and decent human being, but it is indispensable to view yourself as acceptable.
It is a delight to discover people who are worthy of respect and admiration and love, but it is vital to believe yourself deserving of these things.

For you cannot live in someone else. You cannot find yourself in someone else. You cannot be given a life by someone else. Of all the people you will know in a lifetime, you are the only one you will never leave or lose.

To the question of your life, you are the only answer. To the problems of your life, you are the only solution.

250 - I understand what you mean... I spent several years essentially alone and had a lot of time to evaluate who I was and where I wanted to go...

I learned a couple of things. One, you need to be your own best friend. Heck, I understand all my jokes, I am always around when I need me, and I am dependable.
Two, find a relationship with the Higher Power, however you percieve it. I am Buddhist and have a different perspective, perhaps, but finding a relationship with The Great Spirit will also help.... You are never alone, not really.

For someone who is 19, you have a lot on the ball... remember you are further along than many peers who do not know themselves as well as you do.

I wish you well, friend, and know that you have everyone on this board as a listening ear when you need it.
