Maybe that shop actually had someone walk around the building looking for another door.
"Well... I guess I can't use this door..." Five minutes later "Where's the other door!?!?" Someone walks out of the store "I thought it said that you couldn't use that door!" "It meant the one on the left. How long have you been walking around the building?" "A few minutes. Someone should really put a notice to use the door on the right, instead of look for another one."
