I seriously didn't hear about this. Are these the same awards that, a few years ago, gave Sports Person of the Year to a little known swimmer rather than to Sir Steven Redgrave, the rower who won gold medals in five consecutive Olympic Games? Or is this some other BS award ceremony?

I hereby volunteer to be IW's representative who goes to England and checks the veracity of our Mendacious Pastry. Of course that would entail nice restaurants, theaters and such.. you know, to get his guard down....

Okay - I've discovered that these awards were shon on TV here on Saturday night and as I didn't get in until 4 am I missed it.

Cloudy, of course you are always welcome. Mmmm, nice restaurants and theatres - I've always wanted to try those!
