Good to see you keep in such close contact with our results my friend. I know the Vice President on the Collingwood Football Club - he sent me an email today too .

Nice touch having Beefy Botham do the announcement at the Laureus Awards - wasn't it .

You've lost me. There was no coverage here. Is it an Australian thing? I think it must be because it's so close to the World Cup.

Playing dumb is not your style double donut 7 - I happen to know you are a pretty smart cookie (err pastry ) - the award was for the best sports team of the world. The losing nominations were Bayern Munich, the LA Lakers, Ferrari, the French Davis Cup squad. The winners were STEVE WAUGH'S BOYS .

I seriously didn't hear about this. Are these the same awards that, a few years ago, gave Sports Person of the Year to a little known swimmer rather than to Sir Steven Redgrave, the rower who won gold medals in five consecutive Olympic Games? Or is this some other BS award ceremony?

I hereby volunteer to be IW's representative who goes to England and checks the veracity of our Mendacious Pastry. Of course that would entail nice restaurants, theaters and such.. you know, to get his guard down....

Now.. let's start the "Send Cloudy to the UK" fund....
