If you have not played this yet do so. I have to say it took me back to a better time. When artifacts did not grow on dwarves, ogres and trolls scared the $#!T out a ya's, and you did not find treasure in every chest and barrel. The towns folk and shops are very realistic(to a p&p dnd setting) this is a tough low level adventure, and nobody is holding your hand! and you can take the road to homlet ( I wonder if the temple if elemetal evil isstill there ^_^)

You might also try the Penultima modules. There are 6 of them
numbered from 0 to 5. Penultima City, Pest Control, Deweys Decimal, Hazard Pay, Clucking Hostile and Home Sweet Home. They are a good play and have lots of humour and puns. A great change of pace from the Hack n Slash gotta be serious adventures. I had a great time playing them...just watch out for the Death Chickens. http://nwvault.ign.com/Files/modules/moduleslist2.shtml |
