Ok i have some basics of html and ubb code down to use in texts and was wondering how you get the strange white outlines around words. Also for thoes who don't know the basics here are the ones i know.
Replace the {'s with <'s to change the text color it's like this {font color=colornamehere}text{/font} here is an example yellow text here is a list of colors i know should work please add color you know work. Plum, pink, red, blue grey, cyan, white, Yellow Maroon Green Navy Teal Lime Olive Silver to change the size of the font it's like this {hX}text{/hX} replace X with a number between 1 and 5 here is an example using 1 using 1 for Xto make text bold it's like this {b}text{/b} oops messed up here to make text italisized it's like this {i}text{/i} to underline a text it's like this {u}text{/u} to strike out a text it's like this {s}text{/s} and finally the last thing i know how to do is make thing scroll across the page, it's like this {marquee}scrolling thing here{/marquee} Don't forget the ending part or it will affect the whole message and mess up the pageto add an image it's like this (just replace the {'s with ['s {img}Url of image{/img} in the same way you add a link like this {url}url address{/url} P.S. i learned this from several posts that Cloudy did a whail back i just put it all onto one place on my harddrive and wanted to share this with everyone who didn't know how to do this before. Feel free to try these things in this thread so you don't off topic other threads by trying to get them to work. ------------------ All blades cut, be they made from metal or wood, but the sharpest and deadliest blade is the one of knowledge. The outline you were referring to comes from the glow command...
Just find a post that has it, and go into the edit option of his/her thread, and read the code... EDIT...See below...go into edit post, and see how this is done.

If you notice above...as I have the words glowing above...sometimes the page will not load 100% correctly, and thus you do not get a glow...only the base color, in this case, is green.

lets try the glow thing with different colors now
the first color is the one on the outsid, and the second one is the inside color just to keep it straight. ------------------ All blades cut, be they made from metal or wood, but the sharpest and deadliest blade is the one of knowledge.
