You know the scene. You wake up Monday morning, feeling awful. You go to work, school, whatever it is you do, and things seem to go from bad to worse. People annoy you, you don't seem to be able to get anything done, you flare up about nothing, and everything you feel possibly could go wrong, does go wrong.
I have had such an awful week, it literally defies description. First, I get so much work to do for school that I can barely believe it: essays, book reports and tests to learn for. I have had huge arguments with almost everyone I love: my friends, my girlfriend, my sister, and my parents. So last night, I went off to watch my favorite soccer team play, to take my mind off my nightmare week. And you know what? My team lost in the last minute of the game. I went to bed last night, happy in the knowledge that things couldn't possibly get any worse. I was wrong. I woke up around 10am this morning to get my hair cut, as it was getting pretty long. While my hairdresser cut my hair, I started looking out of the window, thinking of other things, watching the world go by. Next I hear 'there you are' from the hairdresser and look into the mirror in absolute horror. He made an absolute mess of my hair, I now look like I've had a wrestling match with a lawn mower. A perfect ending to an altogether crap week. I *dare* anyone else to have had a worse week that that.... |

I had a pretty rough week too
got nothing done had an arguement with my loved person missing her terribly too (and cannot sleep) had tons of books waiting to be read socialization screwed up due to my emotional burden (havent got a hair cut yet... good thing ) but whenever I count the blessings I have, I am filled with joy! I have hope in life that I can someday be with my loved one and take on "Our journey"!! I have hope in life that I can grow up and be fine! I have hope in life that things do go wrong at times, then they will come back up! here is a poem that I'd like to share with everyone here: Two Days We Should Not Worry by: Author Unknown, Source Unknown There are two days in every week about which we should not worry, two days which should be kept free from fear and apprehension. One of these days is Yesterday with all its mistakes and cares, its faults and blunders, its aches and pains. Yesterday has passed forever beyond our control. All the money in the world cannot bring back Yesterday. We cannot undo a single act we performed; we cannot erase a single word we said. Yesterday is gone forever. The other day we should not worry about is Tomorrow with all its possible adversities, its burdens, its large promise and its poor performance; Tomorrow is also beyond our immediate control. Tomorrow's sun will rise, either in splendor or behind a mask of clouds, but it will rise. Until it does, we have no stake in Tomorrow, for it is yet to be born. This leaves only one day, Today. Any person can fight the battle of just one day. It is when you and I add the burdens of those two awful eternities Yesterday and Tomorrow that we break down. It is not the experience of Today that drives a person mad, it is the remorse or bitterness of something which happened Yesterday and the dread of what Tomorrow may bring. Let us, therefore, Live but one day at a time. |

The rest of life hasn't been too great either. In fact, the ONLY good thing that has happened to me since the beginning of this school year is finding IW. I love you guys ------------------ Kazara Sapphire Dragoness of ALSB Waitress at Cloudy's Cafe |

I could name a few people that probably had a worse week last week
I too have had bad weeks like that, but don't focus on it...put it is perspective somehow and then your situation doesn't seem so bad! ------------------ Never try to teach a pig to sing; it wastes your time and it annoys the pig I've got to admit it's getting better, it's getting better all the time Bossman of Better Funny Stuff.....of the Laughing Hyenas! |
