Do you get your soul back by/at the end of the game and when/if you do will you get ur abilities like draw apon "holly might" and "lay hands on"(proper name ?) back ?

You most definatly get you´re soul back, not sure about you´re abilities though.
Oh well they weren´t that good anyway |

I just want my healing abilities back. I dont like to rest or use potions. 2 healing speals even if weak were some what useful. Don't teal me to get gloves of healing either. I already got them on someone else.

No you don't get your old special abilities back. Get used to being the slayer.

The only healing abilities tou lose are cure light wounds (useless in bg2) and slow poison.(wich any low level cleric can cast)
Draw upon holy might however is an awsome abilitie since it keeps getting better as you raise in levels, anyway you´ll probably get them back in Throne of bhaal. |

Kinda stupid for a half-god to get level 1 en 2 spells as special abilities huh, you should be able to destroy cities by looking at them.
Oh well, that would ruin the game anyway. |

You can still destroy the city's inhabitants. You just take longer about it, that's all

Mind you, your character now has 10% magic resistance, immunity to weapons of +1 or less, +15 to your hit points and +1 to Strength, Wisdom and Charisma thanks to the rewards for opening the Door.
