I was listening to the radio today and they were interviewing a guy, who has just released a record here and the guy was talking about the songs, said one of the songs was about when you love someone utterly and don't expect anything instead except that the person loves you back... and I started thinking... wait a minute, isn't that what love is? Is there any other kind of love? To me, if you expect something else from the other person than mutual love, then it's not love, but prostitution.

Musician are so great think they just invented a new wheel, arn't they?

Well, a lot of songtexts are also about people who love someone but know they are not loved in return...
And there's the kind of love for a thing or a hobby...

No, it's just a load of something-something. Original singers don't become famous, it's all the same these days [img]smile.gif[/img]

4 the record, I'm not that big a music lover (there are one or two singers I do like though [img]smile.gif[/img] ) but I'm well aware of the fact that not all music is the same [img]tongue.gif[/img]

The purest form of love is unconditional, but that is hard for many people to acheive.

There are degrees of love.

You can love somebody, but you don't like the way they let the fork scrape their teeth as they take a bite of food.

Silly things like that, where you can find some fault in their personality of physical appearance.

I admit to not having unconditional love for my wife, and she would admit the same to me, but we at least try to be unconditional. That is where we will succeed. Others let those conditions get in the way, many times...and trouble grows, slowly and steadily.

you can unconditionally love and still feel hurt. we are all humans. humans EXPECT to be loved in return.

I believe people can (if they try hard enough) love and feel hurt

but only idiots love without feeling hurt (if the love is not returned) that is just not human

My cat Sid...my best friend...he gives me unconditional love.
He just comes over and says ok i will lay here and get warmth from your body and jus lie here radiating love...
mebbe not totally uncondtional though...he always begging for tuna and salmon headz!

My friend was like that, he was in love with a girl who treated him like shit, he asked her out but she just laughed at him, but he still kept loving her, said she deserved someone better than him. We, two other friends, told him he was wrong, she was not woth this. Thank god he saw how stupid he was and found another girl and got eventually got married.

I'm there, I think I just got hurt once too often and "flipped the switch off" on my heart, no more pain for me, and yes I know I'll probably miss out on alot of good, but it's better than getting your heart ripped out of your chest again and again. Maybe I'll change my mind in 6 months or so.

Me and my girl r doing fine. My homeboy waldo hooked me up with her too, and dude she is awesome. Er anyways i dont think this has anything to do with this subject, im just happy. Cause a lot of girls i like at school they all got boyfriends or whatever. Or they aint interested in me or some shit. Feel bad for my homeboy waldo though. hes 16 right now and hes addicted to cigs like bad. He smokes like 20 a day. Me and my other homeboy jason tried to help him quit but its hard for him. I stopped smoking 2 weeks ago and of all days on my 17th Bday so that was kinda like woah. Anyways im just rambling on, im sorry. Im just happy i got a gf now and damn foo shes ■■■■■■■ hot, she doesnt treat me like shit and all.
