generally, after interacting with the NPC's should I then kill them to get the xp's. Maybe I'm taking this oath too seriously..haha

Well, the only possable negative side effect that I can see is that Erathsmedor could kill some of you're characters (if not you're whole party).

BigAl,
Totally up to you. The game does not (unfortunately) enforce the oath you swore way back in the crypt although there are some files that indicate the designers originally had planned to enforce it. I, personally, like to keep to my oath! Wyv |

I have had no ill effects from the slaying of thy fire breather. Kinda felt like revenge for all of those fire blasts he used to breath on me. He is kinda powerful, and does have lots of experience.

On the other hand, he always breathes fire at my party - and we're in Gael Serran for the fourth time! I can believe that Erathmeodor didn't recognize us for the first time, but for the fourth?! Hugs, Tanda |

I kinda agree with Wyv... this time I feel like killing enemies for the good guys (just as if killing bad guys makes you a better person ) After all I'm going to be the saviour of the Gael Serran, and that calls for some sort of responibility, doesn't it? Maybe next time through the game I'll go for totally EVIL instead.
Good hunting! //Jazzid |

Thanks Wyv
It is a shame that the game does not enforce the oath...it'd give the whole aspect of role playing more personality. anyway off to slaughter more innocents ciao |

Killing him is also a quick way to get the Mavin sword without going for the mask and shroud. Climb up the side of his mountain, Vanish through the big door and kill him. The door to the Mavin opens. Grab the sword then Vanish to get out.
