Here is Samsung's page for the product.
Okay - we WERE talking different models and the reviewer is absolutely correct. The entire 5500 series line are 60 hz despite samsungs 120 CMR bs; while the 6000 series are full 120. hz.

I'm gonna say. at a mere $100 more, the 120Hz model from tigerdirect may be a slightly better bargain?

Additional query, pertaining to mp3 players, connecting to my computer, and norton antivirus 2012.

I've had my Creative Zen Microphoto 8GB for about 6 years. It's worked just fine all this time. When I first got it, I had norton installed and running and it didn't interfere at all. After some time un-employed I didn't have the funds to renew my norton, and let it expire.

Recently, I re-subscribed and updated to norton 2012. Around the same time, my mp3 player lost the ability to connect to my computer. I suspected norton, but when I disabled norton firewall, it still didn't work. Instead of the usual connection sound I get a rapid 3-beat low tone, like a really fast 'bahbahbah'. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the creative software, to no avail. My computer is in the ballpark of 7 years, or more, old.

Could norton be the culprit? Or is it just that my computer is getting ready to crap out on me? My other usb devices seem to have no problem functioning, including webconnect device and game controller. I would like to note that my mp3 player connected just fine to my father's laptop and is charging as normal even now.

If it's norton that is the problem, how can I get around this, short of getting rid of norton?

After some brief digging, found a solution. It was the device drivers, had to uninstall the device then plug it back in to restore the drivers. Working fine now.

However, in the device manager, under portable devices, Compact Flash, MS/MS-Pro, and SD/MMC are all still flagged as having issues. They are built in to my computer, I can't exactly uninstall them then plug them back in. As part of the default system, would the drivers auto-restore if I were to uninstall them? They're not something I tend to use, so it's not hindering my use of the computer at this time.

I am still looking at a replacement for my mp3 player though. leaning towards this: Sony Walkman type player.

Back to the TV's. Are the Samsung UN32D5500 60Hz, and/or UN32D6000 120Hz, tvs full array or edge lit? Looking at the online descriptions it's only mentioned that they are LED lit.

According to this (page 2 of the Q&A):

http://reviews.bestbuy.com/answers/3...a%26dir%3Ddesc

All of the Samsung LED TVs will only be offered with Edge-lit LED arrays

Tiger Direct has a Sony 32" Bravia LED for $599. But only 60Hz.

Has anyone had any experience with rent-a-center, or similar rent to own type stores? Are they a good option, or do you generally end up paying a lot more than if you saved up for what you wanted?
