What is your favourite? C'mon classists and historians amongst you, tell us!
I loved the Byzantine Empire, Teutons and the Macedonians!!!

I have 2: The Egyptians and the Romans. They were both amazing empires

definitly the roman empire, too bad they had a couple of insane emperors or it would have excisted a lot longer

Either the Han or Hittite Empires. Maybe the Moguls in India even.

Mind you the British Empire resulted in some pretty nice countries if you ask me.

The Alexandrian period, definitely. Also, I would say the Tokugawa, even though it isn't an "empire".
