My university has chosen me to spend a semester abroad, in Holland.. I´m dedicating the weekend to think whether I should come... I know that there are plenty of netherlandese people here, and I´m asking if anyone of you live in Eindhoven, and what kind of city it is? Any info is welcome, and no, I don´t like the advertisement webpages filled with propaganda.. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Grojlach lives in Eindhoven, it's a nice city. But you should really come to Utrecht, that's about 80 kms up north. I'll buy you a beer.

Eindhoven a nice city? I used to live just south of it. A very grey and colorless city IMHO...

If you're a student it's nice, plenty of bars and dancings. Isn't that what's most important for students ?

nice and small personal university
i would gave gone there if i had chose for technical Physics instead of astronomy

not to mention PSV

Well to be honest; the best university related city is definitely Leiden. And I'm honestly not saying that because I study there, but because all inhabitants of Leiden are practically students. AND it is close to Amsterdam, the Hague, Rotterdam and Utrecht is also considerably close.

Hmmm. The school would be Fontys.. Im not even positive whether it's officially an university. I know that it´s not among the greatest, but we haven´t got anything to choose from. What I forgot to say was that the timing would be next autumn & 4 months.

I keep that offer in mind, Johnny, when I come to utrecht.
