Other than throwing away money identifing items in town, how can I identify objects I pick up? I thought I read somewhere that 3rd Level Warlock can do it but now I have one and the items still have the ?Wand? markings.

To be able to identify objects, you must first have the trait "Ancient Lore", then start training in Artifact skill. Both are available at either the Temple or the Wizard Guild at guild level 4 (after the Naga quest at the Ishad N'ha Temple or after the Ardibren's Relic quest in the Ishad N'ha Wizard guild).
Warlocks automatically gain "Ancient Lore", but will have to wait until they gain guild level 4 in either the Temple or the Wizard Guild to start training in Artifact. I don't think you can automatically train in it; you need to study at least 1 level of it at the guilds before it becomes available for you to add to it at your level increases. Sazerac |
