umm... does he have Windows ME? that seems to start a lot of problems with games...
------------------ It's simple. Once the Planet is hurt, it gathers Spirit Energy to heal the injury. The amount of energy gathered depends on the size of the injury...What would happen if there was an injury that threatened the very life of the Planet? Think how much energy would be gathered! Ha, ha, ha. And at the center of that injury, wil be me. All that boundless energy will be mine. By merging with the energy of the Planet, I will be come a new life form, a new existence. Melding with the Planet, I will cease to exist as I am now. Only to be reborn as a 'God' to rule over every living soul. Super Sephiroth, slayer of the Uber Fluffy, and battle co-ordionator and defender of the HADB clan. Diplomacy is all and well, but HADB is better! |

Check out the configuration program and see if 3D graphics are turned on. It may say that the graphics are fine, but sometimes when you run the game, that will happen. If you turn it off that will normally clear it up. Also, if you have the 800x600 mode enabled, it can cause problems too. Both of these are usually caused by the graphic card that the computer has. There are a lot of variables. Memory could have something to do with it. Also, what other programs you have installed in your system. CrashGuard from Norton is notorious for locking up systems when running BioWare. If it's none of the above, not sure what to suggest except that if you can copy a savegame from another computer AFTER you have passed the cutscene, this will usually help you out. They have a lot of stuff going on during the cutscenes and they are the most likely to kill a system.

Tobbin, I copied/pasted your reply onto that guy's original post in SoA.
I referenced it from you, as the originator of the idea. ------------------ Father of the wicked but cute child known as MaryBeth Padre de una niña bien traviosa pero guapa --------------------- Aisukuríimu ga tabetái desu. |
