Well? Which is the best in terms of the Quality of the film (acting, directing), and which is your favourite, in terms of which did you enjoy the best?
Best: ESB- "No, I am your father!"
Favourite: RotS-Midnight showing with my buddies just can't be beat.

In terms of acting and directing, all six leave a lot to be desired. That said, i don't watch 'em for their depth.

RotS would have to be my fave. Best lightsabre duels. Best battles. And the corniest lines from yoda to date. All climaxing at the single best scene in a SW film - Anakin vs Obi Wan. If Lucas had've toned this down, i'd have been disappointed...

I would have to say Empire, In Jedi I felt sorry for all the contractors building the Second Death Star, they didn't have any politics, nor want any involvement with a terrorist right wing group of nutballs, they saw a government conrtact with lots of benefits and bought in, getting blown up by the rebels was an unexplored tragedy. (Yes Clerks is one of my favorite movies, why do you ask)

"Empire" had the better ending. I mean, Luke gets his hand cut off, finds out Vader's his father, Han gets frozen and taken away by Boba Fett. It ends on such a down note. I mean, that's what life is, a series of down endings. All "Jedi" had was a bunch of Muppets.

ESB. MY daughter asked for the original 3 for last Christmas and after years of not watching it was a delight to see them again. The newer 3 are, IMO, bleh.

I loved both Empire and Revenge of the Sith equally.
