OK, I looked it all up and I think I have it figured out. Made a very basic sketch just now. It was quite different; fun to do because the vowels are usually not represented by whole characters but by little dots and lines over the consonants. But with the word 'you' I did have to use entire vowels obviously. I think the end design could look pretty cool. Anyway give me a couple of days to draw it 'kay? I've a lot of other things to do this week...
Any specific things I should keep in mind? What size, should it be plain looking or with some flourishes, black in colour for a tattoo I assume?

Mel, using Galadria's "Cheat sheet," I come up with Tanacce raica, with the little double dots over the e, which is, roughly, "you are shown wrong," in Quenya. That would look good in Feanorean letters.

The dots over the e are simply there to remind the English that it isn't a silent 'e', as most e's at the end of English words are.
Anyway, the English sentence looks good as it is but if I have time I'll put this in calligraphy too and see if it looks better. Thanks Attalus!

I think all black looks much better, but it's up to you
And as for the language, it depends. Does it have to read exactly "to prove you wrong" or can it be an approximation like Attalus came up with, "you are shown wrong"?

Oh and are you very muscled?
No I'm kidding you, just wanted to know how big a size a tattoo artist would need, LOL. I would think they have the means to enlarge it or make it smaller right?

If possible, TO PROVE YOU WRONG exactly. But if not, that cant be helped!

Dnt think they can enlarge it..........they trace it on first.

The size all depends on how many characters are in the phrase, I am 5'9, with normal sized arms! Measure one of your mates!

Btw, am I sad for getting Elven tattood on my arm? The reasons were stated above!
