Well, I was on www.yahoo.com and I was in need of help for Baldur's Gate. So I typed in some kind of search keyword, and it came up with a list of matches. This link seemed like the most attractive to click, so I did. And now look, I'm all addicted

Well, here's one that's different:

I was looking for help on Wizards & Warriors back in October 2000 and saw "Forums", said "Hm," thinking, okaaaay, I'll give it a TRY, even though I have had bad experience with other forums before...fell in love with the place and stayed.

And even became mod. , that's the spirit, I wanna be a mod too, but then again, being connected only for 2 hours a day (because of the high telephone bills because of dial-up) not really worth the trouble.

I found IW when I was searching about how to kill Elminster in BG2!!!! Can you believe it?

Found a few deadbeats until .... IRONWORKS site!
ok found the information I wanted but I had a question (a silly one that is)
I scrolled down and discovered the W&W forum

Back in Oct 2000 I was looking for IWD sites, found IW and a few others but none were as good so here I still am. Still my favorite site!

Honest answer? Really? I originally signed up because someone mentioned one of my friends was horribly flamed over here, and I wanted to rush in her defence... (most awful thing was that she wasn't even a member of this forum at that moment, and wasn't even aware of the existance of this particular board(!)). I was pissed off at that particular moment, but calmed down very soon only a few hours later, and all I can say is: thank god my password never arrived until much later.

I decided to stick around, and here I still am.

I honestly don't remember what first brought me to the boards, well initially, the board. I didn't even move to the new forum here until Dan finally shut down our old board. I must say though that Dan has done an outstanding job compared to what we had and what he had to work with before.
