I've been carrying Yoshi around for a while (he's level 13 now) so I decided to take Jan out. I prefer to take as many of the characters out who I'm in two minds about, in order that they level up - If I need them later on, I don't want them being wimps!
Anyway, on with the plot. Jan has got some ammunition for his 'crossbow' when you first meet him - some skulls that seem to do a fair bit of damage. How do I get some more?

I'm afraid i haven't got a clue.
I played all the way through the game with Jan and never got any more.........
I don't think you can get any more, I talked to the rest of the Jenson family and done all of Jan's quests but still nothing......

He can create some in the special ability bar.

I suggest to keep Jan insted of Yohi since you want to play with a character that will go up in level (you'll see later).

The skull amoo is quite weighty, though, so you may need to give him a strength item if you create more than 20 or so

Cheers - more skulls coming up!!
As he was fairly weak, I got him a Hill Giant's belt, so he can handle things a bit better.
I've not completed many of the major quests from chapter 2 yet, so I'm going to do the lot in order to get the levels up sufficiently. I had enough cash to go to chapter 3, but I thought that it would be too difficult with my current stats.
Done the Umar hills, thieves guild, dearnise hold and a couple of minor quests. I had around 30,000 GP, so I thought I'd splash out on a bit of hardware.
Jaheira is still a problem - can't seem to figure out what weapons to give her apart from a boomerang dagger that will affect some of the tougher chapter 2 creatures - any suggestions for her and Aerie?

Give Jaheria the staff of the woods later on in the game,
For now give her a Druids staff, or the staff you get from the Icewind Dale salesman (in the special edition pack) You can download the special edition characters though.......
