But can you still make models of people and objects using Bryce? Go here and look at some of the images which were made using Bryce. What I''m trying to say is that how come the people who have made those pics have been able to make people (models)? I thought you couldn't..or someone told me otherwise. For another example go here

They're both pretty good but i prefer using bryce because I feel that poser is too limited...
/)eathKiller I notcied that you said that you used Bryce to make sigs! Can you show me an example of a sig using Bryce. Oh yeah by the way..NICE WORK..you're a real artist at making sigs!
You are correct. You can't create people in Bryce. People here are comparing Bryce to Poser when that makes no sense. They do very different things. Poser is very good for creating people, animals, and then positioning them, but the rendering engine it uses isn't so hot. It is also extremely limited when it comes to creating original objects. Bryce is an excellent rendering engine that can make beautiful 3d landscapes, but it would take an act of God to make it create a humanoid model.

Poser and Bryce work great together though. Especially when you get the Poser Pro Pack that has extra Bryce import/export functionality. If you are into 3d modeling, then you will also want 3ds Max and Carera.

Check out my 'main' website at www.tgeweb.com and hit the 'Object Archives'.. I released a bunch of 3D Models. This is how I started out--my main 'thing' in 1994 was a 3D modeling website. and Sci-fi stuff.. then, I added a RPG area which EXPLODED into what we now call Ironworks!

I use Poser 4 (With plus pak) Mesh/Textures.
trueSpace5.2 (Totally easy to use)

Played with Max and Lightwave, but I am into GMAX now--used for game modding.
(Dungeon Siege will use g-max)

Own a bunch of other 3D Modeling goodies.

I've got over 5 gigs of textures too, it's taken forever to find and buy them, I even made some with my digital camera, but getting GOOD seamless textures is SUCH a pain. check out www.marlinstudios.com for some of the BEST textures on the net--they may be pricey, but they are worth it if you're really into high detail scenes..
