Tanoch - Fem Fght/Mage 13/13 20* 17* 16 17 11 11
Novem - Fem Thief/Mage 27 18 19* 18 6 7 18

My first run through in IWD alone was on normal difficulty with a party of six. I ended up with just over 1.25 million xp per person and the party looked like this:

Paladin - level 12
Dwarf fighter - level 13
Ranger/Cleric - dualed at level 2 (to take advantage of an early bug in druid spell availability) - 2/13
Mage - level 13
Thief - level 15
Elven Fighter/Mage - 10/11

Subsequent runs through the game were on HOF mode. My next party consisted of these five (each had over 4 million xp):

Paladin - lvl 24
Half Elven Ranger/Cleric - 15/17
Half Elven Fighter/Druid - 16/16
Elven Fighter/Mage - 16/15
Elven Fighter/Thief - 16/19

This last group actually ran through HOW before we returned to finish IWD so their levels migh have been a little higher had they gone straight to IWD finale.

(I think the levels for the previous poster were the first numbers right after the class).

Well, I Completed It With A Party Of Level 9-12, They All Had About 1,000,000 Exp Each.

That sounds about right .... according to "Bishop" Sawyer, one the game designers, the ORIGINAL IWD xp cap was an unattainable target even if you did EVERY quest; UNLESS you spent a LOT of time in areas where monsters respawned.

My party member levels may a BIT off as I don't have that group saved and tried to recreate their likely levels from memory and my best recollection of their final xp. I do recall that several friends who finished with a group of six ended up in the 1.1 to 1.25 million xp range as well, so you're in the ballpark. [img]smile.gif[/img]

I've got to agree with you guys. Just finished for the first time with a party of four (all small people of course) and they all had about 1.2 million XP. The game played in a well balanced way with this experience, on normal difficulty.

It's been quite a while, now, but I think my average party level was about 14 when they finished IWD the first time. I don't even remember what levels they attained by the end of HoW. Oh, well...
