Ok here's another AD&D question. In the Experience Levels Tables, what does the hit dice column mean. For a Warrior for instance. The column in labeled Hit Dice the has (d10) under the words hit dice. I believe this means when a warrior levels up a 10 sided dice is rolled to see how much hit point he/she gains, then modifiers for con is added in separately. But what confuses me greatly is the numbers in the column. They start with 1 at level 1 and increases to 9+33 at level 20. Can someone please enlighten me as to the meaning of these numbers (1-9+33) and this entire column for that matter. Thanks in advance. P.S. It is refreshing to see the civility, kindness, and maturity of the folks that post on this forum. Keep it up folks. : )

This means that at level twenty the fighter would have hit points equating to 9 rolls of a 10 sided die plus 33 hit points (after level 9 the fighter just gains 3 hps for each level).
