How do I kill this Cet guy?

WEll, I was proud, got to the end, now I"m disgusted as heck. I have a zenmaster with the mavin, dex and agility and strength all 20+. And I have a zenmaster with the staff of death with the same type stats. I fought Cet for 10 minutes and never hit the floating ugly ONE time!!! Is there something I'm missing or should I save a week to finally beat the game. I was thinking it was going to be my favorite game of all time until this crap. Somebody help, PLEASE!!! FIshman

Did you put the weapons in the black fire before using them against Cet? (Warning, I might be off a little since I haven't played the game in over 6 months

NO, I haven't put anything in the black fire except the heart for the Valk quest. I hadn't read anywhere where you needed to do that. You sure about that one? ANd if so, How do you do that. Use the weapon in hte fire? Thanks for the help. FIshman

Yes, use the Staff of Death and/or the Mavin Sword on the Black Fire. You'll get a little message and a sound effect to let you know that they've been "Cet-ified" and are ready for use in the final battle.

Hi Fishman!!

IT is very easy to miss the part of the conversation in which Anephas tells you that you will need to put the weapons in the Black Fire to be able to defeat Cet. This conversation is available right after you raise Anephas from the ashes. If you don't hit upon the correct keyword you can miss the message.

Cet will be no problem after you have done this!

God Bless you All! I loved this game and would've hated to tossed my computer out the window because I couldn't hit the Geraldo Rivera lookalike. I look forward to picking your brains on my next adventure, which will be .... (look at new post)
