The term cash cow isn't used for making profit. As you said every game si made to make a profit but a cash cow is a game that is not up to standards of the other ones in with the same name and one that tries to cash in on the name. Read my previous post through. I gave more arguments to prove it was a rushed cash cow. But i agree, definatly buy Fallout 1 and 2. But if you want to discuss it further, post in GD because we are getting of the Icewind Dale discussions.

Yes, I have both Fallout and F2, but I haven't played them too much; just piddled around here and there. (of course, I do have the original Wasteland, also.... [img]graemlins/petard.gif[/img] )

Computer games suffer the same confusion as the world of art: should the artist create art for monetary gain or for "the sake of art"? Should programmers create computer game art or make games that will sell quickly? [img]graemlins/1ponder.gif[/img]

It will seem like a very good game, allowing more choices to your character, like choosing your race and neat professions. I think it will be a complete success.
