i have the rift device but i dont find that boss beholder

' oke once you talk to the Avatar you have to leave his area and go back to the room with the blind guy. He will tell you to talk to the guy where they dump the bodies in the room with all the follwers of the beholder. Remember what the blind guy tells you to say to the fellow by the pit. He will let you go down into the pit. Then its fight city.

If you go to the blind man he'll send you to someone in the Cult
Talk to him and he'll let you into a pit that leads to a city of undead
once you kill them you can go to a Beholder Lair
Kill Everyone and get the second piece
Once you done that the beholder should appear
If he does not appear i would want to recommand you getting the patch
Because i can't think of anything else

IIRC, there's 2 parts to the device. The first one is obtained from the avatar in the temple where you find all the diseased people. The other part is obtained from the beholders' lair. You have to get down to the pit (can't recall the exact name) to get there.

Once you find the second piece, the two halves will automatically combine into one. The Unseeing Eye will appear, use the rift device to weaken it then kill it.

happened not to me but i attacked those cultists and then it did attack i killed him but i couldnt give the rift device back to avatar
