To Chew, or not to Chew.
Ok, so as you all may or may not know, i deeply respect all of you here and frequently ask for your opinions and wise council.
So here's a question.......what do you all think of chewing tabbaco? My friends older than me got me to do it. I dont have a problem with it, i actually kind of like it, but i've met a few people who smoke and think chewing's gross. What about you guys and gals?

Re: To Chew, or not to Chew.
Like other tobbaco products it can be a health problem. But in the final run it's up to you. Remember to keep a spit can handy when you got visit. People don't like the stains on their floors.

If you like everything you eat to taste like a cigar and the increased risk of oral and throat cancers.. Its your choice. But nothing is a cool as trying to start a conversation with some one and constantly spitting in a cup or can. ( or forgetting that your soda can actually is a spit can and taking a swig. Had a friend do that once and it was communal can.. Wasn't pretty..)

In the end, you'll just do what you think is cool; so why ask?

Re: To Chew, or not to Chew.
It wasnt started because i thought it was cool.
It was started because a friend asked me to try it. What you guys didnt know was that i used to smoke, from the age 16 and 1/2, i got hit with peer pressure pretty damn hard. Since i've been introduced to chew, i havent smoked a day. But i fear this may be no better. And as i said before, i respect all of your opinions

Re: To Chew, or not to Chew.
Switch to nicorette gum. Worked for me, is not gross, and it's minty flavoured.

Well from a health perspective, neither is good for you, but believe it or not chewing is worse. Also the spitting is a good deal more disgusting (of course, swallowing would be even worse).
but as everyone else has said already, it's really entirely up to you.

Re: To Chew, or not to Chew.
Fair question... and a bit of Googling came up with this story from CNN that looks into it a bit. Short answer... it's more dangerous than smoking.
But to echo what everyone else has added, you'll make up your own mind. In fact, you've probably made up your own mind already, I dare say. I'd encourage you to drop both... in my ever-so-humble opinion, depending on where you want to end up in life, neither one will likely help you along the way, and both will cost you plenty of real money. 'Course, you could drop dead tomorrow, but life's always a gamble... Good luck in your choice!
