I know Ironworks isn't having any problems, but I've been unable to get in from home for a week now, so I'm wondering, is anyone here, that uses Roadrunner, from NC?
It isn't my machine because I can get in using a dialup. Anybody?

I've been on the phone with tech support a couple of times since this started, but they do seem to be checking it out.
It seems to be a local problem with the DNS server in Wilmington. The tech support people not using that server can access the site, those using it can't. A supervisor is suppose to call me. Whatever it is, it started between last Sunday night and Monday afternoon. I was able to get in for a little while Thursday night and again Friday morning, but nothing else.

Here in town, I've had about 7 people check and none can enter the site.

create a file in c:\windows called hosts. It should contain one line: 24.129.133.61 www.ironworksforum.com # Suddenly your not using a DNS server for that URL. Larry is using that same fix, otherwise he would likely be having the same problems.

That one doesn't work for me Andrewas.
Again, I can connect from my machine with a dialup connection, but not with Roadrunner.

Magik, I'm hoping mine will "work itself out". Cloudy had a similar experience to yours. She couldn't get in for a week or two and then suddenly she could.
In the meantime, I've called tech support everyday. "Squeeking wheel gets the grease" and all that.
