Sorcerors Rock!

There has probably been a topic like this before, but I had to give my two cents.

I've never really given sorcerors a chance before, but I have to say I like em. I admit they don't get very many spells, but they can cast the few they do get several times. Even though they don't get very many, they get *enough* You just have to think ahead. What spell would be the most useful in this area or at this level. Or I already have an area affect spell. I have to say I still like my wizard though.

I have both a sorceror and a mage in my party, and they both have a near equal amount of kills.

And here I thought I was the only one. The best thing is having access to as many magic missles as you want (instead of a lower predetermined amount), and then switching up to burning hands for close encounters. There's no more "ok, I only have 2 mm left, and only 1 melf's acid arrow." It's just let rip until you want to switch spells!

After playing these games enough, I generally think I have a "feel" as to which spells are good. Then I just have my sorcerer pick those spells when he levels up... Plus I enjoy sorceres more than wizards on the RP level.

I like wizards much better. I like to keep a collection of spells. But it's good to be a sorceror to you're independant then plotline scrolls. I mean sometimes you can be able to cast level 7 or 8 spells but no scrolls anywhere so you cant cast. if you are soceror no problemo [img]smile.gif[/img]

I much preferred sorcerers myself, for the reasons given above. Also, you can buy scrolls of spells (or find em) for those spells you don't have, and use them when needed. Of course, not many are available, but then I tend to use pretty much the same spells all the time, so it's not a problem.

sorcerors are very cool.. at least u dont have to worry bout running out of spells faster than the mages do... mages get more but oh well..i rather rest without memorizin spells like sorcerors do...
