yeah they were shipped in at the start of the war to await the U.S. in Baghdad...supporters of Saddam...or enemies of America...either way, there are 5 to 7 thousand of them.
Wouldn't they be called... mercenaries?

Rick Leventhal is reporting that they are walking down the streets of Baghdad right now...in two colums and with no opposition.

I've actually enjoyed Ollie in this role. Did you ever notice that he is almost always interviewing some young marine or is surrounded by a group of Marines? He really seems to be enjoying himself, out in the field with the young guns!

There are plenty of US Marines and US Army no waiting for Martyrdom.

lol john too true...sad if you think about it really.

I just heard Ollie report that wherever he is in Baghdad (I am ignorant of his location), he's seen two Ba'ath party officials hanged by Baghdad citizens and he's bashing Syria hard for all the Syrians, Lebonese, Sudanese, Egyptians, etc. that they have been killing in the progress they are making....like the whole Arab world is our enemy...dangerous words, Ollie, no matter how true.

At the same time he said he has not seen one Iraqi soldier. Those you mentioned are all he say's he has seen. That kinda is a eye opener.

Who knows
