cant work out the sequence anyone help me?

If that doesn't work (it doesn't work for me). Start behind the first pillar on the left and work your way counter clockwise finishing with the front of the back-left pillar. Then, you'll find out that some chains have come back up. Again, start from the same position and keep going counter-clockwise pulling the chains that are up (don't touch the ones that are down). Keep doing this until the gate opens (usually the third time around).

The walkthru kinda covered it, i couldnt get the walkthru to work for me, the pillar just to the left of the treasuer chest is the key. I just started pulling all the chains, and the one that would never stay down eventually did. I just kept checking it after each chain til it worked

thanks for everyones help i done it, now it wont let into the under w2ater cave to get the snake figurine cant manouvre into it and characters just drown any help would be appreciated thanks all

So you're back at the Snake Temple??

The underwater route to the snake idol can be tricky. Many (many) players have gotten stuck in this area. Try having your smallest character lead the party and squirm about as you go.

If you still cannot get through you can actually by pass this bit. The purpose of getting the snake idol is to give you access to the Book of Servants which has the answers you need to give to the Naga spirit when you do the ceremony. You can find those answers/response in the BEST TIPS thread.
