They are finally catching up to you...
except for the fact you have to pay $7.99USD for their rendition of...
and didn't someone already do a pretty good random dungeon generator a while back in the form of NWNAngband?

And yes, it seems that the good people over at the DLA had a very strong hand in the creation of some of the extra fireworks within this module. Something I could actually see myself purchasing. Not that it would supplant my time here, merely something else to numb my brain with. I do, however, like that model of Halaster they have there. Kind of nice, actually. Makes you wonder if they will release that to the community to use.

I read about that last night, and frankly, I'm not all that impressed. In discussing things server relevant the other night with the builder at Fates, part of the DM meeting thing we do every week, he's come up with a random map generator all by himself, that generates the map, and creatures for it, and we've had the spawn in at pc level for quite some time, with random creatures, in a lot of the areas. I also have a problem with requiring online purchased modules to be played while connected to the internet. What about dial up users, a dieing breed in the gaming community, I know, but they are still there. I'm not on dial up, and if my computer is on, it's online, but I won't be buying any modules from them. I don't believe in the security measures they have taken, so why would I support it? I realize they are just trying to keep the content protected, but there should be a better way.

As I stated in the other thread, you can get the first three modules on disk separately. The new ones (Infinite Dungeons and the upcoming DLA project) will only be on digital download for now, but I am sure if enough of them sell they will release them on disk. Of course, it's up to ATARI to release the new modules on disk at the end of the day. From what I was reading it's purely up to the publisher to re-release all the modules on disk.

Yehj, right now it can do nothing for me. Since you cant unpack any haks either.

Plus, I have all my areas planned out pretty much for years now. (I use FR Maps as close as I can)

But It may be something to check out.. Because I hang out at the DLA forums a lot.

Something else I have always been curious about: customized spells.

I know that you have been extremely busy with a host of issues with the new hakpack, such as compatibility and models not woriking correctly. This was something I was curious about as it would get even more people interested in spellcasters again. I have a link here that I figured you might be interested in perusing as I figure this person would construct new spells that would actually WORK instead of merely mess up your modules. I figure I should try to add them to a small module I have (duplicated, of course) and then see how they pan themselves in...

Something to abuse just about everyone - an old article about Halaster Blackcloak himself. Go take a look at your archnemesis in person...
