I've finally wandered back this way. I'm a plant, I'm slow, but unlike some plants I don't have lethal breath. Except when I first get up.
Anyhoo, to what I was going to say, I don't use vanish as part of normal gameplay. I just use it when I get stuck someplace because of my graphics card problems and am going to have to teleport and walk back halfway across the Gael Serran to be able to move again. This happens to me a lot, so I've developed a habit of saving where I'm stuck and then casting vanish. If it works, I'm still in the same area. If it doesn't, I reload, teleport, and make that hike. I've experienced that annoying 'suddenly in the trees' phenomenon too many times to use vanish when I'm not already stuck. I never have good luck with those trees.

Bumpers must buy!!! Bumpers must buy!!! Hey, that is a good idea, Bungleau. Now whatever happened to our long-missed bartender? I think it is about time he threw out the customers and invited them to come to the Boogre Bar 5 instead.

Barkeep! Gimme a pink lady and a mai tai kicker! I just found out I may not be a real barbarian-man after all, so I'd better switch to the silly drinks.
*looks around* And if any of you give me any guff, I'll clean your clocks with a silk and velvet elvish hanky!

I suddenly realized I had not visited the bar for some time now. I have been busy working lately and I have not had the time to play much. Rest assured, however, that the quest for the missing traits is still under way.

Oh no, not for nothing, Lionheart. After all it is the thought that counts, and we are all very grateful.

Did I neglect to grab the brew you so kindly offered, LiOnHe@rT?
Many apologies. I truly meant to. Barkeep! Give me one of those leftovers, please. *casts a low-level cone of cold spell* There. Almost as fresh as when it first came out of the bottle. Cheers! *B* Minister, etc. (ret.) |
