You start seeing those The Clapper commercials LOL. Clap on! Clapp off! The Clapper! (LOL, I apologize if I put that little ditty in your head now) Anyone seen these commercials? Is it an American commercial or has The Clapper travelled abroad? Man those commercials irritate me LOL! Especially that old 150 year old witch spastically clapping in her bed to turn her lights off. Yiyee that's what I wanted to see before going to bed It kinda reminds me of those wind-up clapping monkeys with the cymbols, something is just creepy about it...

Anyway, do any of yall actually own a Clapper? Anyone? If you do, how do you like The Clapper? Do you Clap frequently? If someone farts do the lights come on? Please tell me of your Clapper experiences

What do you mean LadyZ? The Christmas season begins November 2nd.
I don't think I've lived a long enough life to where those commercials irritate me, but I have seen them on TV before. What is irritating is the commercials advertising seemingly simply "toys" that do seemingly nothing, yet the consumer market feels they should rake the price up to $19.98!

Sorry, no Clapper, nor any stories. I kinda would like one, though.

However, I know Christmas season is coming up because my mother is already playing Christmas music. It's not even December yet! Oh wait, it is now.

Ugh, Wendy. What a thing to think about before bedtime! Clappers, Salad Shooters, stick-up lights, Automatic Leather Repair kits, Chia Pets....EEEEE! Yes, I know exactly what you are talking about. Any thing made by Ronco or K-Tel or any of those other mass junk marketers.

I think the "salad shooter" had to be my absolute favorite. Picture this: going downstairs in the middle of the night to investigate a noise, and encounter a burglar. You pick up the first thing at hand and scream out, "DROP YOUR WEAPON! I've got a SALAD SHOOTER and I'm NOT afraid to use it!!"

Cheers,

P.S. I forgot to mention the cheesy Norelco Rotary Razor commercials. You know the kind, that shows Santa Claus sledging his way through the snow on the back of one, in that kind of claymation-puppet animation reminiscent of "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer?" Tres' Taque'.

"S"

I know it's fairly close now. It's just so weird for Thanksgiving to be just past, and now Christmas music is being played. I haven't even gotten the chance to be tired of Thanksgiving leftovers yet! I need a few days to mentally prepare.

You know it`s Christmas season when Z puts the Christmas logo up for GD.

Argh, Jarrad left it logged on when he was here a few hours ago.
Lennon here, BTW

For us here it the arrival of the Christmas Beetles! Little gold, blue/silver or bronze mettalic like coloured beetles that fly around like maniacs - particularly in the early evening around light globes. They have a short life I believe but they're quite cheerful.

I'm always amazed at the quality of the actors they're able to hire. I mean, the elderly lady in bed who claps at the lamp and then jerkily turns over to go to sleep? Genius, sheer acting genius!

I do find it interesting that Kufu Gal is interested in whether or not flatulence interfers with the "clapper".
