It is Spring, and the RenFaire season is beginning again... ah, how I miss the long skirts and the lace-up boots and the dang bodice that I can never breathe in.... oh.

Anywho... how many folks here hit the Faires? How about you folks in Texas going to Scarborough Faire (just opened this last weekend)???

I worked the Agoura Hills faire for several years in the mid-80's. Sadly the only pieces of my costume I have left are a couple of shirts and my dagger

By far the best part of Faire (other then charging Ale Tax) were Faire romanaces. Oh well back to work.

I will probably be going to Scarborough sometime in May, Charean, hopefully before it gets too hot. There's also Hawkwood over in Roanoke in August/September, but I only go there in the evenings (it goes on until 11 p.m. in the Summer.)

Cheers,

Cool, Saz... didn't know about that one....

Hey Magik!! I be from Maryland!!!! Try the one in Pennsylvania... the stuff is cheaper in there, it isn't as crowded, and the shows are amazing!! (Reminds me of the MD faire when it was young... it is in its 30s now!)

My bro still goes/works at the faire... I went for about 16 years before I moved here.... I have a few friends at that one you could look up for me if you have a mind to...

Anywho - I am going to get the rest of my Scottish garb this year I hope... looking for something a bit more comfy than the evil bodice of doom.... er...yeah......
