Spirit of the Woods Portal

Please help, spoiler requested!!
I have been through the dryad's home and found the book
that tells me I have to kill myself in the pool below the waterfall
in order to reach the spirit world. I found the dagger
and the mirror of vanity. I can't find any pools below
any waterfall. The only waterfall nearby has no access
to the bottom of it. Where is the pool, and where is the
witch I need to give the mirror to?
Any help would be appreciated.

If I can remember I think there is a waterfall with an altar in front of it in the top right hand corner of the map. You click on the altar and it comes up with a list of options.
I think the witch is in a house or cave along the top of the map.
Been a while since I've played so I hope this helps.

there should be a stone hand below a waterfall. Look for that

Heaps of thanks. I found it. I had missed the entrance to the next area containing both the waterfall and the dryad's house. Careless of me!
