Greetings!!
As you've been using the board, you may have noticed in the upper right section of the screen a "Donation Goal for New Server". If you have been on this board for quite a while, you know that from time to time it goes down, sometimes for a few days, sometimes for a couple of weeks. Now you might think, given the quality of these boards, that it is a real moneymaker but that isn't the case. Ziroc runs these boards on a shoestring. He isn't making money off these boards. Sometimes I am amazed that he manages to keep them up and running at all. So, if you like these boards (and how can you not?) and if you can afford it, I encourage you to make a donation towards the new server. The new server will be a great asset and help to keep the boards up and running! Even a small donation will help! If you like, I can ask Ziroc to post some more details about the server he's trying to purchase. Thanks, Wyv |
