Hi all,
I am currently taking my very first ever solo run through BG1 and so far all is well. However I'm just thinking that some of the larger scale battles are coming up and was wondering if you guys would be so good as to give me any tips regarding how to take them on. I've done the mines and several of the smaller quests with my character ( human assassin lv 6 ) and am now lookin to start some serious brawling. Cheers. Oh yeah any other good tips for a beginner soloist would be appreciated!

Don't know about soloing, but if you're playing an assassin through TuTu, you will find Dundee's thread here full of useful info. He played an assassin through the whole saga too.
http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...c;f=1;t=004330 It later continues into SoA and ToB. And we are still waiting for the ending... DUNDEEEEEEE, if you're reading this I still want to know Rena Ryuuguu's final fate in ToB.

Use the poison weapon ability to prevent spell casters from casting spells. You'll find it to be dead useful.
Keep some potions of invisibility in your quick slots. If a battle is getting too tough, gulp one, get behind your enemy, and give 'em a nice backstab.
