ok ok people, here's the deal. The reason why some of the quests don't work and the reason why some of you are getting caught up in the whole Scanthril/Assassin quest is easy..basically you accomplished the mission before the guild/person asked you to. Why are you not getting that dagger after killing Rascalion? Because Rascalion is already dead and the computer knows that..so guess what, no dagger for you. You have to ask him about the job,AFTER finding Grundel aka the fried stout and BEFORE killing Rascalion or Scanthril just figures he will keep the dagger. Many other quests are like this..the object of the quests is easily found while exploring..and because of that..you miss that quest in the guild and subsequent guild ascensions. So..what is the point of the matter? Easy..listen FULLY to what people have to say, question EVERYTHING and DO NOT wait to get credit for quests and start another. Hope this helps...lata
