That's why I try to double-check the stability of my soapbox before I get up on it...

How about a nice earworm to take your mind off the bubbling? Everybody, sing!

Oh my God! You've all gone crazy; I can only assume that the heady smell of Beaumanoir's brewing has gone to your heads - now that is impressive.

And maybe Beau simply meant 'Gustapo' in a 'slightly windy' way?

Whilst perhaps Facist is best defined thus: a subculture of racism, instead of classifying people by race, the facist judges people by how attractive he/she finds the face of other people. It is not to be confused with "fascist" which is extreme idiotic loyalty to an imaginary state which may or may not exist.

But then we get to fascism: The term fascismo was brought into popular usage by the Italian founders of Fascism, Benito Mussolini and the Neo-Hegelian philosopher Giovanni Gentile. It is derived from the Italian word fascio, which means "bundle" or "union", and from the Latin word fasces. The fasces, which consisted of a bundle of rods tied around an axe, were an ancient Roman symbol of the authority of the civic magistrates; they were carried by his Lictors and could be used for corporal and capital punishment at his command. Furthermore, the symbolism of the fasces suggested strength through unity: a single rod is easily broken, while the bundle is difficult to break. This is a familiar theme throughout different forms of fascism; for example the Falange symbol is a bunch of arrows joined together by a yoke.

Damn, I'll need some of that wine when its done - and now I'm off back to the cafe for a much-needed pre-dinner tipple and handful of M&Ms.

Very slowly. Very slowly indeed, but not quite stopped yet. So I'm just giving it a couple more days. Might take another hydrometer reading tommorrow to see if it's ready for the stabiliser.

You would not believe how much effort goes into making beer.. Especially on a large scale like I do.
But the end results are worth it

Nope, I probably wouldn't believe it
How do you mean by "large scale"? I mean, what is the small scale for making beer?
