Wow.
This must have taken FOREVER! read the The Brick Testament and learn the Bible's story ! Note: This is a series of 24 stories of the Bible retold with Lego. Brendan Powell Smith, 28 at the time of its creation, holds degrees in philosophy and religion, but is not an actual minister.

Thanks for the link, RudeDawg.
I wasn't too thrilled about some of Brandon's history, but I certainly enjoyed the LEGO stories. I didn't see anything sacreligious about them. I thought they were very impressive.

Too bad some of the translation is incorrect. It kinda is important to get that stuff right, when telling a story. Example is this verse..." Gn 3:16
To the woman he said, "I shall give you intense pain during childbearing, you will give birth to your children in pain. Your yearning will be for your husband, and he will dominate you..." That is not what the true scripture reads. Anybody that speaks German on this forum will tell you that, because the German Bible is most closely similar to the original Hebrew. This translation sounds like it came out of the Jehova's Witness translation. Oh well, not important,,,,but I had to say it. |
