Do Human Beings Have a Soul?

I am a living creative soul. I cant/wont prove it to anyone, wont try. The very fact that I feel compassion and connection with life around me is self-evidence of something more than my flesh. I feel it, I cannot describe, there are no words.

On the other hand, the volume of data amassed on topics like astral projection and remote viewing highly suggests that human consiousness can extend beyond the physical. Remote viewing was successful enough (85%) that the US military had a secret team of remote viewers active during the cold war.

I certainly hope so. For me, the knowledge that I have a soul (even if it is abit black and corrupted) is a reassuring thought...

Anyway Occams razor says that the most likely conclusion is that we don’t have any soul, also given our current state of knowledge as related to the real world, it is the most logical and rational conclusion that we do not have one as well.
Simply saying I know I have a soul and you cannot prove me wrong since you might not exist is illogical, irrational and an emotive reaction rather than an actual scientific one, period.

In fact how about I fix up your post, just as you have done to me (now & in the past)?

you have hit the nail upon the head. People believe in souls, not because they are true, but because they want to. They want a safety cushion from harsh reality, and the hope of eternal life.
