Back when I worked at origin, as a writer for the Ultima series, we went to a gaming convention. I was a speaker, as were most of the guys in our group.
There were a bunch of folks passing these tracts out, and shouting at us that we were going to hell... At the time, I was a VERY active minister, so I began trying to speak with them calmly. I got punched in the eye. Security led them out. My speach changed.

Now back to the topic. Jack Chick is quite clearly a disturbed and ill person, the really sad thing isn't that he's so fanatical about all of these sick things though, it's that some people are believing him and adopting his attitude  I could live with him being as he is, but when he starts "infecting" others it becomes serious.....

it's what the guy believes.you may find it reprehensible but he is free to think what he will.but don't forget there are alot of people out there who feel the same way he does.i know some of them.they are people who are strong in their faith and will not do things that will violate the tennets of their faith.
but i will say this,though,he is dead wrong about islam though.the quran makes it quite clear that they worship the god of abraham.and the god of abraham is the god that jews and christians follow.in the begining muhammad thought of islam as a part of judaism.but when the jews rejected him he turned on them,and as they say,the rest is history. |

You think what he says about Islam is bad? You should see what he says about Catholics. Read the tract "The Death Cookie", among others.
